Dog kills old woman by licking her

In the USA, a ferocious dog has been removed from an old-peoples' home after it was found licking living flesh off an elderly woman's arm. Strangely enough however, he's also been accepted for adoption.

The dog was evaluated by officials, who claimed she was fit for adoption. A ninety year old woman, Nina Borseth, died four days after the dog caused her wounds.

Borseth's death was mainly due to Alzheimer's disease.

The deputy chief medical examiner says Borseth's arm was bitten, but investigators with the Arizona Department of Health Services say Cosita just licked flesh off Borseth's arm.
