Perez Hilton now on ITVitv.com today unveiled its latest signing, the self styled Queen of All Media, Perez Hilton, who becomes the website’s resident Gossip Girl correspondent from tomorrow at www.itv.com/gossipgirl.

Perez will pen a weekly column to coincide with the broadcaster’s online coverage of smash hit ITV2 show Gossip Girl, with each new installment going live after the latest episode airs on ITV2 (TX: Thursdays, 22.00-23.00).

Readers logging on to catch a glimpse of the new column can expect a heavy dose of witty Perez banter, where he’ll be give his take on the action unfolding in the ITV2 drama series, as well as unveiling some new and exclusive juicy tit bits from celeb land.

The new column will sit alongside itv.com’s other exciting offerings to support the show including episode Catch Ups and previews, interviews with the cast and galleries.

itv.com is the official home of Gossip Girl, ITV2’s sexy new Thursday night drama. The broadcaster has also distributed content through Bebo, boasting a growing fanbase.

Perez Hilton, real name Mario Lavandeira, is a famed gossip blogger and TV star. The 30-year-old graduated from New York University in 2000 before starting his blogging career setting up perezhilton.com (formerly pagesixsixsix.com).

On his website he posts gossip about musicians, actors and celebrities. He was recently quoted as being the “most powerful, widely read, cruel and vicious writer in Hollywood” (The Times).
