Lakeview Terrace Blu-Ray review
Lakeview Terrace stars the legendary Samuel L. Jackson as a LAPD cop in California who increasingly harasses a pair of newlyweds who move in next door. A stark thriller from Neil Labute, Lakeview Terrace is out on 30th March 2009.
Lakeview Terrace stars Patrick Wilson, Kerry Washington, Regine Nehy, Jaishon Fisher, Jay Hernandez, Keith Loneker, Robert Dahey, Ho-Jung and Mel Rodriguez alongside Jackson. The film delves quite boldly into issues of race, politics and class, and Samuel L Jackson's performance is amazing, as usual. If you liked Black Snake Moan - you'll like this.
The newlyweds who move in next to Jackson are an interracial couple - and Jackson, a single father has taken it upon himself to watch over the community he resides in.
His constant intrusions eventually backfire when the couple decide to hit back at Jackson.
The film has you glued from beginning to end with the TrueHD 5.1 audio ensuring you don't miss a gunshot. We give this film 4 out of 5 stars, due primarily to Jackson's performance.
