Zombie Strippers starring Jenna Jameson Back

Zombie Strippers starring Jenna Jameson

Zombie Strippers starring Jenna JamesonZombie Strippers stars the former-porno star Jenna Jameson in her first major movie outing. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment took the risk with her, and it seems like it probably didn't pay off in this Zombie horror out on October 13, 2008.

Having mentioned Jenna Jameson, most of the guys reading this will be sitting stiff. If that's you, we'll sum it up: loads of zombies, loads of boobies, loads of deaths and that's it. Got it? Good, now for the more educated review...

Zombie Strippers on the loose

Basically, this very, very low (or no) budget movie was never a cinematic release, meaning it's probably pretty crap. And, as you expect from a movie called Zombie Strippers, it is. Jenna Jameson attempts to add glamour with Freddie Krueger's Robert Englund - however they both seem quite uncomfortable in this sleazy D-movie. Englund seems like he's going for an Oscar nod, whereas Jameson simply doesn't cut it on the big screen. Her implants and botox take all attention away from any acting she contributes. As you probably expected, there is an outbreak of the undead in a strip club, and the strippers turn undead, biting clients left, right and on the the ol' snake. Englund is the owner of the stripjoint, and suprisngly, Jameson is the main attraction.

There are a few strippers in 'goodie two shoes' roles, but alas they don't get their begonias out!

There are loads of political references, jokes and even a few philosophy remarks - but it all seems a little too high brow for such a low brow film. The most laughable part takes place in the backroom of the stripjoin where Jameson reads Nietzsche. Whether she could spell that however, is questionable.

The Godfather, it ain't.

Sadly, Zombie Strippers takes itself too seriously - and doesn't have the tongue-in-cheek aspect that Cabin Fever or Shaun of the Dead does. The terrible acting from the 2 leads makes you think Englund wasn't one of the most notorious horror characters of all time. And Jameson... well, stick to the horizontal hoola.

We give this 1 out of 5 stars.
