Buck DVD Review
Buck is a visually stunning film that brings a stunning moral story too. The film follows Buck Brannaman for the early days of his abusive childhood to his phenomenally successful approach to horses.
If we were to say horse-whisperer, then Buck is certainly the best, he eschews the violence of his upbringing and teaches people to communicate with their horses leadership and sensitivity rather than punishment and abuse.
Buck seems to be some type of horse magician being able to dramatically transform horses and people with his understanding, compassion and respect. One of the most successful documentaries of the year that bases itself around an unsung hero of an ordinary man who has made an extraordinary life despite the odds.
A film that is spellbinding in short and a film that offers an unexpected treat. At face value it seems to be a film mainly about horses but it soon becomes apparent how much of a story about life it really is and a life that teaches something meaningful about life.
