Fingers on Buzzers DVD review
Fingers on Buzzers: Second Edition follows on from the original Fingers on Buzzers game. Fingers on Buzzers was unique in the way that unlike previous DVD games, each players had their own handset. This selling point continues into the Second Edition, released by 4DVD on 26 November.
Quizmaster Tom Wrigglesworth guides players through a series of fast-paced rounds that have each been specially created for anyone hungry to test their mental agility and beat their rivals. Wrigglesworth himself was winner of Channel 4’s So You Think You Are Funny.
Fingers on Buzzers - the questions
If anything could have been said about the prequel to the Second Edition, it would be that there were too few questions. However, this has been solved with Fingers on Buzzers: Second Edition. With a whopping 1,500 questions in its database, players should be kept entertained for at least December.Even if you were to play it once a day in December, you'd have enough questions in order to play a game with 50 questions each day! As always, the game is easy to set up and a good way to burn a few hours with the family.
Each new game begins with a quick fire, warm-up round featuring questions on maths and spelling. This quickly progresses to a series of furious rounds of Reaction Time, Memorise This, Entertain Me, Around the World in 80 Days, Sporting Chance, Weird Science, Target Practice and Point Stealer. Definitely one to keep the kids and oldies happy at Christmas, you can win Fingers on Buzzers: Second Edition or alternatively may also be interested in Beat The Intro, a similar game to Fingers on Buzzers, but for music boffins! This DVD game gets 3.5 out of 5 stars from us for Christmas.
