Marx Brothers Boxsets
THE MARX Brothers - Groucho, Harpo, Chico and sometimes Zeppo - were perhaps the most influential comedy team of the 20th century. From humble beginnings in the Bronx, they conquered vaudeville, Broadway, film and television. No topic was taboo and no person sacred and their wild and unconventional humour would inspire generations of new comedians.
Universal Pictures is delighted to announce a 16th October release date for a beautifully presented new box set featuring four Marx Brothers’ classics, all of which are available for the first time on DVD. Comprising The Cocoanuts, Room Service, Love Happy (featuring a memorable cameo from an aspiring starlet by the name of Marilyn Monroe) and A Girl In Every Port, The Marx Brothers Box Set carries a retail price of just £34.99 (rrp).
Also available on the same date will be an 8-disc box set (£49.99 rrp) containing the above titles together with the four releases from Universal’s first best-selling Marx Brothers Collection – Animal Crackers (1930), Monkey Business (1931), Horse Feathers (1932) and Duck Soup (1933).
