Rambo on Blu-ray and DVD Back

Rambo on Blu-ray and DVD

Rambo on Blu-ray and DVDHe may look like he’s had an accident with his mother’s plastic surgeon, but alas, he’s back! Sly Stallone goes back into the jungle with Rambo, out on DVD and Blu-ray from June 23, 2008.

The movie sees the Vietnam legend now living in a Thai village near the Burmese border. Our man Rambo reluctantly agrees to make a dangerous journey with Christian missionaries into the remote jungle, to ferry the Christian missionaries into the war-torn neighbouring Burma to deliver much needed aid to the downtrodden Karen people.

If you liked the other Rambo’s, you’re not going to be disappointed. There are no less than 200 kills from Rambo alone, the tree-trunk look-alike certainly knows how to aim.

Rambo, on Blu-ray too

Rambo not only comes on DVD to rent and buy, but is also available as part of the DVD boxset alongside the other Rambo movies. On the DVD, you get:
  • Audio Commentary with Sylvester Stallone
  • It’s a Long Road: The Resurrection of an Icon
  • Courage and Inspiration: The Musical Legacy of Jerry Goldsmith
  • Preparing a Warrior: Finishing Rambo
  • The Weaponry of Rambo
  • A Hero’s Welcome: The Rambo Premier and Reaction
  • Legacy of Despair: The Real Struggle of Myanmar

And then with the Blu-ray edition, you also get...

  • Picture in picture commentary with Sylvester Stallone
  • Snake Sale (Casting)
  • Burmese Pirates (Shooting)
  • Helping People (Production Design)Rambo’s Dream Sequences (Editing)
  • With the Mercs (Casting)
  • Rambo’s Arrow Attack (Visual FX)
  • Nuclear Claymore (Visual FX)
  • Rambo Returns (Visual FX)
The movie is written and directed by Sly himself, Rambo features some of the bloodiest battle scenes ever seen on screen and includes adrenaline-fuelled action throughout. The release is also available as part of a fantastic 1-4 DVD box set containing all four of the iconic action films.
