Rockford Files Season 2

Jim Rockford (James Garner), one of the most suave and coolest Private Investigator's in TV Cop Drama history returns to DVD in The Rockford Files - Season 2.

In the spirit of James Garner's other famous small-screen character, Bret Maverick, Rockford is the kind of guy who'd rather avoid the fight and go fishing instead. An ex-con pardoned for an armed robbery he didn't commit, Jim usually finds that the cases he takes on turn out to be must more serious than he first thought.

The Season 2 boxset features all 22 episodes from season 2 along with the pilot.

Extras include a 10 minute interview with producer Stephen Cannell who discusses the creation of the Rockford Files, how the show was originally rejected by ABC and how detectives on TV were never paid - and why he had to be up front about money for his services.

The second extra is the 80-odd minute pilot episode which wasnt featured on the first season set. It's brilliant!
