Shrek The Third Back

Shrek The Third

Shrek The ThirdShrek The Third, gets the royal treatment on DVD from 26th November 2007.

Shrek The Third continues the adventures of Shrek, Fiona, Donkey and Puss from Shrek and Shrek 2 with new characters including a magical misguided Merlin, an awkward Arthur, a powerful posse of princesses and a bundle of unexpected arrivals. The biggest comedy of the year is the must-have DVD for Christmas as the all-star cast and characters you love return for an all-new royal adventure.

“The best Shrek yet” (Jonathan Ross), Shrek The Third recently re-wrote box office history by scoring the UK’s biggest ever opening weekend for an animated film and the third largest opening in UK cinema history. The latest installment continues to perform in its current global run, having taken more than £38 million at the UK box office to date.

The Shrek The Third DVD is ogre-loaded with bonus material that gives viewers the chance to join the whole Shrek family for hours of entertainment and activities. Aspiring film makers of all ages can mix scenes from all three Shrek films and put them together to create their own original “Shrek Shmash Ups”. Everyone with two legs (or four) can master the “Donkey Dance” with the help of Donkey’s wildly entertaining step-by-step instructions. In “Shrek’s Guide to Parenthood” viewers get some wise and wacky parental advice from Donkey, Puss In Boots, Pinocchio and Gingy.

In addition, the DVD includes an interactive yearbook from the Worcestershire Academy, “How to Be Green” environmental tips for kids from Shrek and Donkey, set-top games, a behind-the-scenes look at all aspects of the making of the film, “lost” scenes, goof ups and much, much more. The Shrek The Third DVD is available as a single disc (£19.99 RRP) a Collector’s Edition (£24.99 RRP) and the complete collection is available in a trilogy boxset, perfect for Christmas gift giving at £29.99 RRP.
