Silent Hill
If you loved the game, you've probably seen it - Silent Hill is out to own on DVD on 4th September…
Night after night, nine year old Sharon DaSilva enters nightmarish trances, and when she is woken by her anxious parents she screams the words Silent Hill. Driven to desperation, her adoptive mother Rose (Mitchell, Man on Fire, Pitch Black) disappears with her troubled daughter to find the root of her nightmare, the ghost town of Silent Hill.
Abandoned after an infamous fire thirty years earlier, Silent Hill is closed off due to the coal fires that still burn beneath its streets. After losing control of her car on the outskirts of the town, Rose awakes to find Sharon gone, and herself engulfed in a thick fog of ash that smothers the entire town.
Once inside Silent Hill, she enters a world where reality and a hell dimension seem to blur into one another. Stalked by hell beasts with massive knives, twisted limbs, burning flesh and a hunger for blood Rose stumbles from building to building following the lingering screams of her daughter.
While her husband (Bean, Flight Plan The Island) searches through the remnants of Silent Hill in the real world, Rose is trapped in a reality controlled by an Evil that is determined to teach her the truth. What really happened in Silent Hill, and why does it hunger for her child?
Silent Hill on DVD includes an extensive “making-of” featurette comprised of details on casting, building the town, stars and stunts of the film and an in-depth examination of the creatures.
