Six Million Dollar Man Series 2 Back

Six Million Dollar Man Series 2

Six Million Dollar Man Series 2This autumn The Six Million Dollar Man will be released courtesy of Universal Playback.

The entire second season of the series will be released for the very first time on DVD on 23rd October at a retail price of just £34.99.

The thrilling adventures of The Six Million Dollar Man - aka Colonel Steve Austin (Lee Majors), a NASA test pilot who survives a near fatal shuttle crash and is reconstructed at a cost of $6,000,000 - launched a wave of small screen superheroes in the mid-1970s. Beginning as a series of 90-minute movies in 1973, by 1975 it had become one of TV's biggest hits, turning Majors into an international star and launching a multitude of merchandise – from action figures to clothing - in its wake.

It also introduced many pop culture elements, such as the show’s opening catch phrase and the slow-motion action sequences.
