The Darkest Hour DVD review
The Darkest Hour is based around a pair of programmers who travel to Moscow to seek investors for their bar-hopping Facebook app. Just like the film the Social Network when the investors land and meet their partners they are ripped off. Then everyone goes to the bar to drink away either their sorrows at being ripped off or at the joy of getting something for literally nothing.
Then the unexpected happens balls of light appear that happen to be aliens and the two seeking investment hide in the bar basement and yeah you guessed it, when they come out they might very well be the last people on earth.
The Darkest Hour is a sci-fi/horror film that tries to put a spin on the classic alien invasion script. The monster CGI is quite good and overall it doesn’t seem too bad. If you want something new and different then this is not the film you want for it follows the story of an alien invasion too the line.
