The Hole DVD review

The Hole DVD reviewOut on January 17, 2011 - The Hole is a film about two brother brothers who uncover a mysterious hole in their basement that leads to the darkest corridors of their nightmares.

Starring Chris Massoglia, Nathan Gamble, Teri Polo, Chord Overstreet, Haley Bennett and Bruce Dern, the film follows Dane who is played by Chris Massoglia (The Vampire’s Assistant) who discovers a bottomless hole with his brother Lucas, played by Nathan Gamble when left alone in their new home. Although their workaholic mum doesn't believe them at first, their neighbour Julie, played by Haley Bennetthelps them uncover their home's haunted past and must try and stop evil being unleashed.

The film was also released in 3D at the cinemas last year, however the DVD only features the 2D version. Although given a 12 rating, it is much scarier than a 12-certificate film and may scare younger viewers.

We give it 4 out of 5 - very entertaining.
