Kula Shakers Album Strangefolk Back

Kula Shakers Album Strangefolk

Kula Shakers Album StrangefolkIt's been a while since Kula Shaker last dawned us with their multi award winning K.

A combination of Asian/Eastern vibes with George Harrison in for the kill had everyone on their toes. Their cover of Hush caused a spell too.

Over 10 years have passed since their last album, and we were excited to get hold of a copy of their latest blurtings.

The tracklisting reads:

Out on the Highway
Second Sight
Die for Love (Album Edit)
Great Dictator
Strangefolk
Song of Love / Narayana
Shadowlands
Fool that I am
Hurricane Season
Ol' Jack Tar
6ft down blues
Dr Kitt
Super CB Operator

The first 3 tracks remind you a tad of the Shaker of old, but theres more of an edgier, rockier feel to things. Their single Second Sight gets you tapping to the beat, and by the time your 6ft down, you'll be bopping away.

By far the best track for those who want Kula of old is Song of Love / Narayana, which makes you think of Tattva and Prodigy's Narayan, which had Shakers main man on the vocals.

All in all its a good album, but if you're looking for just one to download, we say... Ol' Jack Tar !
