Students across the UK are going back to university this week, with many if not all universities starting by next week.
Freshers and students alike have been warned of the epidemics sweeping the UK - mumps and thieves!
1 in 3 students is a victim of theft at university - so the government is now pushing a UK wide drive to get students to insure their goods before they go! Some university halls do provide insurance, but many dont, according to the governments latest report.
Mumps is also a common epidemic at many universities, with doctors also warning students that if they dont want to miss any of the fun in store for them, they best get a mumps jab quick!
Students in London are also to be warned of SARS, which is often brought to this country by the high numbers of foreign students from the far east.
As long as students are cautious and not too stupid, there shouldnt be a problem!
