Students who have graduated have a lot to be happy about.
UK graduates now start work for blue-chip firms which pay them salaries of over £22,000 a year on average. This is £1,000 more than last year, a recent survey shows. The number of jobs paying over £22,000 a year or more have also increased.
There has also been a rise in the number of graduate level jobs by 11.3%, which was reported by the Association of Graduate Recruiters.
There is now less competition and salaries in London rose to £26,000.
Since 2003, graduate vacancies have soared by a fifth. Student numbers have increased also.
