Three grduate students have been arrested in Georgia, USA, with a fourth being sought for the torture and slaying of a Morehouse College (known as university in the UK) student who grew up in Richmond, Georgia.
The men stabbed, tied up, gagged and covered Carlnell Walker with a flammable substance before placing his body in the boot of a car in the garage of the home he lived in, in Atlanta, according to the Police Chief. All four postgraduates were either former students or currently students at Morehouse College.
The Police found the students body on 8th July after being called to his home by his mother. When the Police arrived, they found the students dreadlocks about the home. Police stated that the dreadlocks had been cut, or ripped from his head.
Police believe the motive for the student killing was robbery. However, the dead student was recalled stating that he was to receive £3,000 from an insurance company after a car crash.
This story had brought shivers to those in the UK, with tales of student robbery and student murders a chilling reminder that students must be vigilant.
