Police investigating over fifty burgularies in the last month have arrested six people in connection with the case.
According to police reports, twenty-nine burgularies occured in the Bournemouth district of Charminster, with a further twenty thefts in West Cliff. These staggering statistics only account for the burgularies in October.
Furthermore, police stated that the majority of thefts committed left UK students victims of crime.
Police have charged a forty-two year old man over nine of the twenty West Cliff burgularies.
According to police, thieves made off with laptops, computers, mobiles, iPods and other electronic goods.
Most of the thieves entered through doors and windows that were not securely locked.
