From October 14, 2008 Studento.com's university guides will feature streaming video footage of a handful of UK universities in a pilot scheme.
Beginning with Coventry University, prospective students will be able to see what student life is really like at university, as well as watch interviews with current students, alumni, and even take a tour of the campus.
Many students are concerned about accommodation costs, spiralling debt, the size and location of the university campus, transport costs and electricity and gas bill costs when at university. The videos featured on the site will aim to resolve any fears students may have by showing them how university life truly is.
Should the pilot scheme prove successful, more and more official university videos will be included in the real student university guides featured on the site. This will soon be followed by video guides to universities in the USA, Canada, Australia and Holland.
