PGCE golden hello

Golden hello information
Students who are studying for a PGCE are awarded a variable golden hello depending on the course they choose to study at PGCE level and whether they're studying in England, Wales or Scotland.
Training bursaries are the proper name for golden hellos, as it is a bursary (or award) to assist you in your training to become a teacher.
You will only receive your golden hello should you pass your NQT year.
If you fail your NQT year, you will not be awarded a golden hello. For more information about golden hellos, read about the awards and grants for PGCE students.
