Student guide to bills - Water bills
Water: Most water companies will normally charge you twice a year on a six monthly basis. However most students will only be taking a term time lease, usually 9 months.
This means that you will end up paying in advance for a full year. But do not worry as you can claim back some of this when your lease finishes.
If you are paying your bill every six months then you will most likely be given an unlimited amount of water for that period. This means you are billed a set amount not dependent on the amount of water you actually use.
