Gay roommates at university
There's a lot of stigma that gets attached to living with a gay room mate, but to be perfectly honest, we're all the same so just chill!
Coming to term with your sexuality and coming out to friends and family are rarely simple or easy matters. Coming out can be a daunting prospect for many, especially for those living away from home for the first time. Here, we have support and advice, and stories from others.
Your sexuality is your sexuality. Life should be fun. If you are happy with yourself, be yourself. The world has a lot to offer for gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered individuals and no matter how daunting the first step may be, enjoy yourself. It may be difficult at first, but with each step it gets easier, and support is always out there.
If you require advice, please call a helpline such as NightLine, or talk to a friend. Talking helps. No really, it does.
Or call the Samaritans, they'll listen to you just like a mate. If you need any of these numbers they are available around your university
