Student guide to insurance - Online Quotes

Insurance quoteOne thing that is very important to remember if you're moving away from home to go to university is that you will need insurance in one form or another.

We highly recommend Endsleigh Insurance for all your student insurance needs as they will give you a very flexible, competitive quote for every insurance you could require.

If you're looking for student insurance then check out some of the links below:

Bike insurance

If you opt to save some money on transport and move around on two wheels then you should check to see if your bike is insured. You may find that it is insured under your parents home contents insurance but if it is not then you will need to take out your own insurance.

Car insurance

Unfortunately car insurance is high if you're under 25 and there is nothing you can do to make it cheaper, even if you're a student.

Posessions insurance

Wherever you're living you should get possessions insurance.

If you purchase possessions insurance then you need to check exactly what is covered as a lot of the time, you may find yourself requiring other supplemental insurances.

Also check to see what exactly you're covered for. You may also want coverage for loss and accidental damage. Make sure that you are covered outside of where you live. It's no use having insurance for a mobile phone if it is only covered while in your room.

Travel insurance

If you're planning on a bit of backpacking or travelling during your holidays, or even instead of lectures then you may want a bit of insurance. The first thing you should do is check if your student bank account, assuming you have one, offers you free travel insurance.
