Valentine's Days - The Male Perspective
For men valentines day is just another annoying thing to remember in the year. Women would argue that men also receive gifts on valentines day so it's fair but let's not pretend that women have to spend as much as men so you don't get as much back as you have to spend, as a man.
Valentines presents are never as good as Christmas or birthday presents either.
For Christmas you might get an ipod or a playstation. For Valentines Day you get some sort of stupid love bear. What's that about?
Why do women think that men want cuddly toys? Or even expensive underwear. Why would we want to spend £30 on a pair of boxers when you can get 5 pairs for under £10 in primark?
They both do the same function; they keep our meat and two veg in.
Also, why do we have to buy roses for ludicrous amounts of money? They grow in the ground and they die when they've been picked. It's insane.
Do women not realise that their partners spend money on them all year round. When ever there is a meal to be paid for, a drink to be bought it's always down to the man. Cinema trips, gigs, days out, who do you think pays for those things? It's certainly not the women.
Technically Valentines Day comes every weekend. Why does there need to be an extra day a year that we have to spend even more money.
Male Verdict: Valentines day should be banned.Next: Valentine's Day, the female perspective >>
