Before you head off to university

So you're going to university at last. Before you go read this freshers guide to starting university and you'll be alright on the night baby! In this guide we will tell you what to do before and after getting to university.

Also we got some stuff which you shouldn't do when you get there. Read on and learn my fellow students.

Before getting to University

Its all about the money!! So check that your student loan is in the bank so as soon as you get to university you can sample the night life and get drunk till you drop! If you don't get your loan when you get there ring up the finance office and make sure you can get it right away...! Its hell living without any money so make sure you get that seen to!

I'm a charity! Make sure you blag all your family for a bit of "getting started funds". You can never have too much money. You never know, it might buy you a few more pints down the SU bar.

I love you! Get all soppy with your folks, so they offer to lend you money if you get a bit skint.

Relationships? If you're in a relationship sort out what you guys are doing and get your acts together. You can definetly keep a relationship going at uni, you just have to try!

Laggered! Practice the art of skanking a drink from your friends. This always comes in handy when you're skint at the student union and you physically need a drink.

Threadages! Save all your money over the summer for clothes while at university. You always want to look your best for the first months of pulling heaven. Plus you'll find that washing clothes is a right hassle when you wanna be playing footy or pullin!

Job centre!!!! Try and get a job sorted for your uni funds before you go to university. There are never any good jobs for students in term time so get hunting. Keeps you at the pub or student union on those bevvies!

Oliver! Practice your cooking skills. Beans on toast is fine but all the time?

Shop til you mop! Get your folx to buy all the essential gear for you. Stuff like pots and pans, home-brew kit, cocktail gift set and supplies.

You'll probably be given info on pubs n bars when you get to uni, so an A to Z isnt necessary!
