Clearing guide 2008

What do I do once I have found a course that I want to apply to?

Once you have found a course that you have been accepted on you are likely to have to give some details to the institution, including a clearing number, which UCAS will provide you with.

When you are ready to fully accept a place on a course you need to send your clearing passport to the institution. You should only send your clearing passport once you are sure that you wish to attend the course.

Your clearing passport is a watermarked document, of which there are no copies, that is sent to you via UCAS. You will receive your clearing passport from mid July onwards if you are eligible.

You must only send out your clearing passport once you are completely ready to accept this course.

If you lose your clearing passport you need to contact UCAS immediately.
