What do you need to be eligible for clearing?
Clearing is basically a way for universities to ‘clear’ all the spaces on their courses that have not been taken after A-level results have been received.
These spaces may exist because the course was undersubscribed (more spaces than applications) or it may be that people who received offers for places didn’t get the grades required.
Either way there are usually a lot of university courses looking for students after all of their offers have been given out.:
