Why should I know about clearing?
Clearing can be used as a back up if you are worried that you may not get the results you are hoping for or require.
But it is important to remember that courses which can generally be found on clearing are not always the top courses at the top universities.
If you’re looking to go to Oxford or Cambridge or are looking to study a course like Medicine or Vetinary science then it’s probably not a good idea to put any hopes on clearing.
Remember that courses that need to be ‘cleared’ are ones that are undersubscribed, medicine is not typically undersubscribed no matter where you look.
