How to survive your first week at university
Your first days as a fresher are going to be amazing, so make sure you make the most of it.
1. Remember where you live! Before you go out for your first night on the town, try and remember where you live.
This is often a puzzle for the fresher in a drunken state, I remember when we were going back home last year we needed a nurd to take us home because he remembered the way.
2. Talk to everyone! Talk to as many people as you can when you get there. If you want to enjoy freshers week you need some new buddies to go out with! You'll be able to make some great mates who you'll know for the rest of your life!
3. Have a look around! Make sure you have a look around when you get to University. Pin point all the things you need on the map like pubs, cash machines, shops, lecture places and other stuff!
Things not to do
1. Fire drill! Beware of the dreaded fire drill. This could come at anytime day or night. Actually during the rest of the year you'll probably set these off yourself, we did! Sorry VooVoolis!!! Also, if you ignore the fire drill you could be fined a large amount of money so make sure you're up - and if you do set it off yourself make it look like you didnt!
