Natwest student bank account

Bank: Natwest

About:
NatWest are probably the most popular student bank. The reason for this is that they have bank offices at most campuses or university sites. However, they're not that great on customer services. Their main competitor is HSBC - so give them a look. Natwest offer a range of freebies including a 5 year railcard, free cinema tickets and free music downloads. They offer an interest-free overdraft of £100 (to students over 18 who have applied to university but not yet had their place confirmed) and then up to £1,500 in your first three years at university (and up to £2,000 in years 4, 5 and 6).

What they offer

Student bank Student incentives Student overdraft Credit limit
Natwest 5 Year Railcard or £55 cash £1,250 in year 1 rising to £2,000 in year 5 Free free, £500
