 The housing is pretty good, clean and tidy. The things that could be better (and they are working on it now) is to provide a toilet and shower in each room (rather than the existing shared ones), internet points at each room, so you can use the fast university network straight from your room.

The university parties are held at the University, orginesed by The SU.

if you need to change the atmosphere, Milton keynes and Oxford are the places to go. though i had more than 5 years of English studies in my home country and my written english was pretty good i had some difficulties speaking when i came to England. this gradually approved and today i dont have problems at all. The life in England is very expensive.

If you stick mostly to your studies rather than going out you are ok.
