 During the first and third year I lived on campus-based accommodation, with the exception that during the third year I did not live in the halls, but in four bedroom flat just outside the campus owned by the university.

Campus accommodation was good. I had expected it to be worse, although the location was not the best one. The only way to learn a language properly is to live, work or study in that country. Make sure you sort out the finances in advance. It is extremely expensive to study in London.
