Strangers – The Complete Series 3 (12) is available from 15th September 2008 on general release from Network DVD and you can win it in our Network competition!

This is a DVD two–disc set by Network containing all seven episodes of the third series, complete and uncut.

The show was a big hit for ITV (five series over five years and a sequel). This series continues the intriguing and gritty stories of three tough, determined detectives being drafted into the police force of a northern city. Being unknown, they are ‘Strangers’ to the local people. There are crimes the local police might not be able to solve due to the locals’ familiarity with members of the police force, this is when the Strangers step in and lend a hand.

Written by celebrated author and scriptwriter Murray Smith (Dempsey and Makepeace), STRANGERS features Don Henderson (Star Wars) as D.S. Bulman, the man with the trademark string gloves who goes nowhere without his Vicks inhaler and a plastic bag. Bulman first appeared in The XYY MAN, which is also available from Network on DVD.

This is a police drama a breed apart from all others of a similar ilk and will continue to excite fans who wish to relive the memories of first watching the series on television or those discovering it for the first time.
