1. Columbo’s killer catchphrase is “Just one more thing...” which he uses to catch the killers off guard at the end of each show.
2. The killer is always revealed at the beginning of each show bucking the trend set by other detective shows.
3. Columbo often refers to his wife Mrs Columbo; however she has never been seen on screen leaving fans to speculate as to her actual existence.
4. ‘Mrs Columbo’ was actually made into a TV series in the late 70’s which won its lead a Golden Globe®. However many fans argue that the series was not linked in anyway and the character was married to another detective who happened to be called Columbo.
