Set in Puerto Rico, ILLEGAL TENDERtells the story of a close knit Latino family whose lives are shattered when husband, father and criminal mastermind, Wilson, is murdered by a gang over a bitter feud. Having witnessed the horrific murder widower Millie flees with her two sons to rebuild her life and do her best for her family.

Years on, Millie dotes on her eldest son Wilson Junior, a bright, exceptional student and a loving son and boyfriend. Suspicious of his mother’s sudden strange behavior Wilson begins to probe her about his fathers past.

Suddenly one evening Wilson’s world is shattered as he experiences the shock of his life when he discovers his deceased father was murdered by gangsters and that the villains have returned to settle the score, endangering the family and everyone around them.
