Win 1 of 5 UFO Cafe DVDs

Beau Bridges (Stargate SG-1) and Richard Mulligan (Soap) star in a comedy about how a visitor from another world brings fun and friendship into the lives of three elderly mid-town Americans. Network will release the nineties Sci-Fi comedy UFO CAFE (also know in the US as Guess Who’s Coming for Christmas) – available for the first time on DVD in the UK - complete and uncut on 28th July 2008.

A visitor from another world brings fun and friendship into the lives of three elderly mid-town Americans....Before going out, George (Richard Mulligan) always promises his wife he’ll bring home a glass of stardust.

Living in a fantasy world, hardware-storekeeper George spends most of his days in the local café, sharing stories and dreams with his two best friends. Then, one day, a stranger from the city, Arnold Zimmerman (Beau Bridges), visits the store for a specific piece of machinery. As it’s Thanksgiving, George lets him have it for free. The stranger is so touched that he lets him in on a secret. He is not from the city at all; in fact, he is from another planet, but his spaceship has broken down and he is stranded…

George introduces Arnold to his friends, and the three men help him repair the craft – even buying a field on which to build a launch pad.

When the locals hear of this, they assume that George has gone mad. As the relationship develops, it becomes clear that the two men have touched each other’s lives forever. And with the help of his new friend, George might even be able to keep that promise to his wife.
